El Salvador, Chile and Cuba provide three different perspectives into the sources, process and outcomes of revolutionary processes in Latin America since the 1950s. Select one theme and write a comparative paper that puts forward an clear argument about how these experiences compare with each other and what larger lessons or conclusions can be reached when examining them in each other's light. Make sure you substantiate your discussion with clear evidence and a discussion of the narrative elements of the cases. You may select a traditional theme (economic organization, mass mobilization, armed aspect/violence) or ask a question about the intersection of two traditional themes (how did mass mobilizations interact with the political/military elite of the revolutionary movement...etc)
