The agenda for this week is as follows:

• present new or revised versions of proposals
• read each other's proposals (bring enough copies to class)
• discuss your reserach plan (bring enough copies to class for all students)
• present some thoughts on how you plan to organize your research materials, including the research log but also your manual and/or computerized note-taking and file keeping work.
• move to do some preliminary work online to develop further the proposal, the research plan and the other elements of your projects.
• This will be especially useful in identifying new items for future work.
• Discuss last week's and this week's readings in relation to all of the above.
• Discuss the Historiography essay you read and its implications for your project
• If we have time we will get started on next week's theme: using the browser for individualized research, use of Nota Bene, and other software programs.
