During the last few weeks we have examined some of the different historical processes that have created Latino/Hispanic communities in the US during the last 150 years.  Write a paper that discusses the diversity of experiences in the formation of communities within the "Latino/Hispanic" label and how, if in any way, these experiences coalesce into a common identity, culture or community.  In doing this, make sure to refer closely to all the different types of readings we have examined and to clearly discuss the regional and chronologic dimensions of these materials.

This paper should follow all the rules relating to formatting and plagiarism as defined in our course web site.  This paper is due (printed or preferably as email attachment) on Friday March 3 by 4PM.
