The final version of your bibliographies will be due after Thanksgiving
Break. These are the parts it must include:

your country, its history and its relations with the US (as narrowed down
by you in your previous work).
-
A 1 page critique of the US's role in the problem, controversy or conflict
you are researching.
-
A 1-2 page discussion of a policy alternative. In other words, come
up with your own solution according to whatever principles you think should
apply be creative but also take into consideration the true conditions
and factors you are dealing with.
-
A properly formatted bibliography of:
-
News Articles
-
Scholarly Journal Articles
-
Books/monographs
-
Reference materials
-
Web sites or Portal Sites specifically useful to your theme.
Feel free to help each other with discussions of formatting and
organization (follow the structure described on the Manual
of Style web page or Turabian, etc.). I announced in class which
students had approximated the goals in their initial work--feel free to
meet or circulate or critique each other's work.
This will be due Tuesday NOV 30 so make sure you keep researching
and organizing your work as you go along. Let me know if you have
any
questions or want to see some drafts.
