Identify a more specific question or controversy involving the US and your
country during the 20th century

Keep a balance between researching this specific controversy and learning
about the big picture (the country's overall relations with the US during
this period)

Identify books related to your country at ours and other libraries

Identify journal articles related to your country

Identify news items and sources related to your country

Identify reference materials related to your country

Identify important specific journals or magazines related to your country

Identify web "portal" sites related to your country

Learn how to use Inter Library Loan

Learn how to use web-based indeces and other guides
-
For Next Thursday: prepare a one page description of your project
based on questions one and two above. Also, prepare a bibliography
of these different kinds of materials specified above and write a description
of how you are finding them or difficulties you are encountering.
